FUN CARD!

I was in a crafty mood the other day and decided to look around the internet at cards made using Stampin" Up producets.  I saw several of the triple layer cards and set out to make one.....
I just LOVE how this turned out!
I stamped the background with the En Francais stamp in Crumb Cake.
I used the Betsy's Blossoms stamps set for the flowers...Calypso coral, daffodil delight and then a combo of the two for some of the smaller flowers.  The base is calypso coral as well and the light paper is Very Vanilla. I used Itty Bity banners for the greeting.  You can find the stamping technique on the web in several videos , some call it triple time stamping.  Just love this!
Have a wonderful day!

Sympathy card

Unfortunately, I neede to make a sympathy card..... not my favorite subject as you can imagine.
I didn't want it to be too dreary so came up with this.

Sponged the background to give it a softer look.  I thought it turned out nice and really love the versitility of the Summer Silhouettes stamp set!
Enjoy your day!

LNS Challenge - Happy Birthday

I have not been doing too much crafting lately....life gets in the way .. but have decided to set aside more time for crafting...SOOOOOO  On the LNS blog there was a challenge posted today so I dove right in!!!!  It was fun deciding what Stampin' UP  tools to use and designing the card.................
Here is my result!
I started with Very Vanilla for the base of the card.  The next layer is primrose petals, embossed with the Perfect Polkadot folder. The flowers are from Mixed Bunch and stamped with Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit.  The flowers were punched out with the Blossom punch.  You can't see it but I used Crystal Effects on the center of the flowers to give some subtle dimension.  I used the Border Banter stamp for the vase and trimmed it down. I stamped it with Versamark and then used Gumball Green embossing powder to make it slightly shiny ( like glass).   Gumball green ribbon is down the middle.  The happy birthday is from the Itty Bitty  Banners stamp set and it is stamped in Stazon black ink on Gumball Green paper.  It was cut out with the bitty banners framelits. Two little pearls finish it off!  The flowers and the banner are all popped up on dimensionals.

Have a crafty day!

New Challenge Card

Now I must say that I love Mary over at Cardz TV.  Lots of great videos and ideas.  This week, she did a card for the challenge at PaperPlaytime .  I love it when there is a theme and the card design is freestyle so I thought I would do an entry.

After my daughter's wedding I had GOBS of teal scraps left so I try to use them when I can.  S,o in this card, I pulled out a teal scrap and added a designer paper.  Then I added white rick rack (  rarely think of using this but it worked!).  Love the addition of the yellow flowers for a bit of punch.  I inked the scallops with teal and popped them up on foam tape.......had to add a bow .....just 'cuz!  Anyway, hope you like it!
Having a bit of trouble with my camera...not the greatest picture

A close up of the center

Have a flowery day!
